A Birthday Party at Old Sturbridge Village:

• includes full-day admission for party guests*
• is held in the Cottage within the Museum Village
• is available on days the Village is open (choose 10:30 am or 1:30 pm)
• is scheduled a minimum of 4 weeks in advance
• runs 90 minutes from start to finish.  Party room is available for an additional 30 minutes maximum for present-opening.

Children attending a Birthday Party at Old Sturbridge Village

• dress up in 19th-century costumes
• celebrate with lemonade and famous, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies from the Old Sturbridge Village Bake Shop.

The Birthday Child receives:

• a $10 voucher which can be spent anywhere in the Village

*Additional adults attending the program and guests not attending the program but meeting up with the group in the Village may purchase OSV admission at $7 per youth and a special rate of $15 per adult.

For Birthday Child turning 5, 6, or 7 (please note:  this program is designed for this age group and may not be as much fun for guests older or younger; up to 2 adults are included in the party fee; space is limited for additional adults (at $15 each; see above), but please ask us.
Up to 8 children:  $150 OSV Members/$175 Non-members
Each additional child (up to maximum of 12):  add $14.95

For Birthday Child turning 8-15 (please note:  this program is designed for this age group, not guests older or younger; up to 2 adults are included in the party fee; space is limited for additional adults (at $15 each; see above), but please ask us.
Up to 10 children:  $180 OSV Members/$205 Non-members
Each additional child (up to maximum of 18): add $14.95 

Choose from among the following 90-minute programs:

Village Craftsmen (Ages 5-8)
Party includes Memory Book signed by all with Quill Pen, early 19th-century children's games (includes Jacob's Ladder Story) and an additional activity of choice**.

Farm Fun (Ages 8-12)
Party includes Memory Book signed by all with Quill Pen, Churning Butter, and an additional activity of choice**.

**Additional Activities offered in conjunction with Village Craftsmen or Farm Fun packages:
Wooden Houses (ages 5-8)
Wooden Sail Boat (ages 5-10)
Candles & Tin Candleholder (ages 5-12)
Morris Game Board (ages 9-12)
Wooden Spaddle (cooking tool; ages 9-12)
Grain-Painting a Wooden Box (ages 9-12)
Weave a Bookmark (ages 9-12)
Sew a Pieced Pincushion (ages 9-12)
SEASONAL:  Tin Snowflakes (2 per child; ages 5-12)

Merry Militia (Ages 5-10)
Party includes Muster Roll signed by all with Quill Pen, Drill Instruction, and a Tin Militia Gorget.

19th-Century Magic*** (Ages 6-15) Performed by Robert Olson in character as Richard Potter of Massachusetts, America's first native-born magician and a remarkable showman.
Party includes Memory Book signed by all with Quill Pen, 30-minute Magic Show, instruction in 19th-century tricks and games, and making a toy that fools the eye.
***This is a 2-Hour Program: Additional $150 Fee

Traditional Tea Party (Ages 8-15)
Party includes Memory Book signed by all with Quill Pen, Make and enjoy Mint Tea & Trifle during a Traditional Tea Party, "Surprise" Cup & Ball.

Make your child's birthday party complete by adding lunch.
Lunch options:
Hot Dog, Potato Chips & Juice Box - $5 per child
Chicken Nuggets, Potato Chips & Juice Box - $5 per child
Cheese Pizza & Juice Box - $5 per child
